GOVADA ASSOCIATION
Govada Association was formed in 1999 to act as a common forum for the people from Govada residing out of the village. It helps in sharing common views and aims for the upliftment of the village. It arranges meetings every year. The first annual meeting was held in Vivekananda Nagar, Hyderabad on November 14, 1999 and the second annual meeting was held on November 5, 2000.
Some of the prominent persons who have taken an active role in formation of association and its working are Sri Pavuluri Appa Rao, Thummala Hyma Rao, Pavuluri Surendranath, Uppala Jaganmohana Rao, Pavuluri Madanmohana Rao, Talasila Nalini Ranjan (Gandhi), Balineni Sivarama Krishna Rao, Uppala Sarath Babu, Venigalla Venkata Ratnam, Dr. Govada Hari Prasad, etc.
